These answers are not enough for a verdict: either the business is not resident or not VAT registered, or a figure is unknown. Look at the VAT-subject revenue in your returns, or ask ZATCA or your accountant.
What Phase 2 means in practice
- Connect your invoicing system to the Fatoora platform and register each device or unit with the code the portal gives you.
- Business invoices (standard tax invoices): the system sends each one to ZATCA for clearance before it reaches the buyer.
- Consumer invoices (simplified tax invoices): the system reports each one to ZATCA within 24 hours of issuing it.
- Every invoice carries the mandatory fields, a QR code and a cryptographic stamp, and is stored as XML or as PDF/A-3 with embedded XML.
